Airliners and Movie Maker

Today, among the many uplanned things I will be doing, I am excited to connect 18 Airliners to machines in the lab. There does not seem to be a consensus among those I have asked as to whether we can run many of these in one lab without the bluetooth connections crossing over to each other. So…stay tuned…after we run 16 to 20 of these all in one lab, I will let you know. After I connect these to my lab machines, I will be distributing them to the teachers who have requested them at both campuses. The reason I am trying to set up many Airliners in a lab setting is because we will be doing a tech workshop with teachers this summer on Airliners. More on the Airliner Surge later.

Also today, I am excited to work with 4th graders on their Movie Maker projects about Texas History…they caught on to Movie Maker quickly and are anxious to work with video and transition effects and audio. I hope to post some of these soon, so check back.

And…my first grade teacher who has discovered the avi capability of her doc camera and has imported these to Movie Maker, wants help with the logical next step: getting her movies onto her website so parents can view them. This is fun and exciting for me. I love it when I am working with a teacher and I see the gears in their heads turn as they begin to imagine everything they can do with the kernel of a technology application. Each teacher has different ideas in mind that pertain specifically to his or her grade and program. I learn new things every day! Looking forward to posting these or a  link to these very soon.
